|
|
Van and trailer reportedly sighted:
Seen on I-215 headed west bound between Stephanie exit & Green Valley Casino (that is west of Henderson, NV, southwest of main LV) around noon either on Wed, Thur, or Fri of last week.
If the report was correct (I sent a photo and he said that was the trailer he saw), that means it MAY be headed to be abandoned on a desert road . . . . OR it MAY BE HEADED TO LOS ANGELES AREA via I-15 / I-10 --please be on the lookout!
Thank you
Edie Lind

As a pre-emptive maneuver, you might want to contact the LA Port Authority because if the crooks found a market for the bikes in Japan (the laptops might have been a dead give-a-way), then they might be trying to get the bikes there, in a crate, in a container, and on a boat ASAP.
Also, logistics companies like Hellman, UTI, etc might want to know about possibly stolen stuff that crooks might try to ship using them. Ask them that in the near term to check VINs etc for anything that they might get to see. For that matter, any air freight companies can be notified. Tell them this is big-buck stuff, they will listen.
I hope the worthless dirtbags are caught red-handed, on the side of a desert road, by a wild pack of roaming and armed racers, so we can bury them where no one will smell them

well, i woke this morning to what i thought was a car alarm in my driveway. it was my neighbors car being broken into. all i saw was some scumbag drivin off. hopefully my peekin out the window kept a few odds and ends from being taken. as it is they only got a couple CD's.
my vigilence will remain heightened and i really am hoping for the news that the van and trailer are found more-or-less intact. <<fingers x'd>>

its weird yesterday not only did a car alarm go off (sounded like mine, but wasnt), but twice last night some weird sounds went bump in the night (the house alarm was armed), and also yesterday i was sitting at the computer i saw a random dude walk thru the woods and into my yard. of course, at all instances the house was tactically cleared and nothing out of the ordinary was found. oh but i was ready, if ya know what i mean. the dude turned out to be a meter reader. he had the scanner in his pocket so it just looked like some dude casing my house because he probably thought no one was home (no cars in driveway, it was just after noon, etc). strange though, because i've seen the meter readers drive by before, and they just use an IR gun to read the meter around here. either way, the dude was a bit surprised when I asked him "can i help you?" when he came walking around the corner of the house to the front.

Trailer with bikes still inside recovered last night in Vegas!
The White Ford Diesel extended window Van is still MIA.
Inside the van was Nobi-Iso's leathers, helmets and gear as well as ten of the std plastic storage boxes and three large rubbermaid storage containers full of parts.
And a mid size Rubbermaid container with a complete TZ125 engine assembly in it.
When taken last week, the van had Washington plate 278 SHV on it.
The members of the Bruce Lind Racing Traveling Circus would like to thank everyone who helped. Especially Gary and Jeff in Vegas.
See everyone at Miller now that we have something to ride again.

This is getting crazy.
Nobi just called me:
Japanese woman e-mailed Yasumi. She and husband had their RV stolen a month ago, recovered 2 days ago. Went to collect personal property, ended up with Yasumi's suitcase, with his and Nobi's passports in it. E-mailed Yasumi.
PD ARRESTED suspects in that RV theft.
PD is the Univ. of Nevada, Las Vegas, NOT Metro, where "our" det./ case is.
I just called our det., left msg. re above.
Possibly have OUR thieves, can trace van?????
