Yessireee, folks, we're here at Miller Motorsports Park, and let me tell you, this place is fuckin AWESOME! It's sooo incredible. The facilities, the view, the pavement.
So far, Stu and Sam arrived without any issues, said it was ~45 hour drive from MD. They arrived about 2pm today. And luckily, their trailer did NOT get stolen. I also arrived at 2p... but I flew.
The Hjelms are here, but Kory yet to be seen. The Canadian clan arrived safely as well: Tammy, John, Matt, Michelle. Word was that Pyles isn't gonna make it. Celtic Racing is also here with their rolling mansion.
There looked to be a couple others down the paddock, but not sure who. We'll find out tomorrow as most people are arriving tomorrow AM.
I got the login for wireless access in the paddock, so we'll posting updates live from our pit lane garage as often as possible, as the days go on, including photos.
Stay tuned for more from the garage tomorrow AM.

OK, I just was able to get access. We're on lunch break right now.. so I'm going to go take some photos, then I'll be back with the AM updates for today.
So far so good though here.

OK, so far.. temp is about 60, 30% humidity.. way better than we all thought it would be. Track is very fast, and WIDE. The usual suspects are the fastest. Although they don't have everyone in the system yet, it's Elena, PJ, & the kidss with Schendel so far who've gotten in the system.
They've been working hard on getting people's name in the system, so after our session, which starts in 10 mins, I'll check the monitor, and post some times. Oh yea.. did I mention the garages have TVs in each of them.. with full cable access/channels, as well, you can watch the live timing/scoring on them. This place is fucking amazing.
Got a few photos up here: http://www.usgpru.net/gallery.php?n=96
Be back.

Sorry for the delay in the post. I had a small front tuck that I had to take care of first session after lunch.
So, yup, we had a few crashes today, Vincent Rolleri, Me, Brian Heess, a couple other off-track issues, but nothing major. Everyone is back up and running.
The afternoon was great, temp got up to about 60 or so, but damn, the winds picked up. There were huge gusts which made riding difficult in some turns. Also on the straight, you had to fight it at times, as it would blow you side to side.
The front straight is long, but not as long as it looks/you'd expect. Everyone's times are dropping like flies and the pace is picking up as everyone figures out the fast way around the track.
The forecast for tomorrow is supposed to be identical to today minus the wind. We've got practice at 8:30, then qualifying around 3:30. Some of the guys signed up for a couple MoM races for extra practice. Should be interesting racing with the SVs & 600+s around here.
Lap times from today's practice are here:

practice went well today, but COLD. 45*
Local host org regional races started about 11a. Matt Cooper & Jeff Lim did the King of the mountain GTU. Cooper finished 10th, Jeff finished below 16th, as they didn't scroll the second screen.. maybe 19th.
The Amateur GTU just finished, and the amazing 14yr old Tommy Aquino finished 3rd against all those 600s!!! Britt, Debra and a couple others were in the race, but I didn't catch where they finished. About to start is the King of the Mountain GTO, with Matt Cooper representing the USGPRU, and not sure if/who else is in it. Will update when I see the times.

Currently, after 5 of 7 laps, Cooper is in 8th, +33 behind the leader.

Well, we're waiting for 125GP qualifying to start, but there was a bike on fire on the track from the last race.. so it's like this.. everyone gets geared up, warms up the bike, and now we're in indefinite hold. Quite anti-climatic as we await cleanup.
I'll post back with some qualifying results.

Man sounds like you guys are having fun. Can't believe you have tv's and internet access at the track. Thats motogp stuff, hehe.
I was looking at the mylaps timing and is that right? A 3 min + lap??? If so then thats insane. How long is the track?
